Description
This 2010 Monaco Diplomat is a 42’ motorcoach powered by an 8.9-liter Cummins ISL turbodiesel inline-six paired with an Allison six-speed automatic transmission. The coach is finished in black and gray with blue and silver accents and is equipped with quad slide-outs, Flexsteel front captain’s chairs, Whirlpool washer and dryer units, and a residential-style refrigerator. Additional features include 22.5” aluminum wheels, an air-adjustable suspension, an LCI electronic auto-leveling system, a Zone Defense rear vision and side-view camera system, and a 10kW Cummins Onan diesel generator. The body is finished in black and gray with multi-color accent stripes and features a one-piece fiberglass roof, quad slide-outs, an automatic patio awning, and topper slide-out awnings for the living area and bedroom. Additional exterior equipment includes Hadley roof-mounted air horns, a bathroom skylight, and hookups for gas and cable television. Aluminum 22.5” Wheels are wrapped in 295/75 Arroyo AR 1000 tires at the front and a mixed-set of Goodyear and BFGoodrich tires at the rear. Stopping power is provided by a set of air brakes that feature an anti-lock braking system and an engine brake. The coach is also equipped with an automatic traction control system, and the Roadmaster chassis rides on an air-adjustable suspension that features an auto-leveling system and a ping tank. The forward compartment houses power-adjustable Flexsteel captain’s chairs trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with a color-coordinated center console and dash surround. Equipment includes adjustable pedals, privacy curtains, and a dash-mounted Zone Defense monitor for the rear and side cameras as well as an AM/FM/CD stereo. A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of an 85-mph speedometer, a 4k-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The digital odometer shows 53k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. The living quarters feature an 84” ceiling height, tile floors, recessed lighting, storage cabinets, and central air conditioning and heating. The kitchen area is equipped with Corian countertops, a sink, a Sharp Carousel microwave oven, a Suburban three-burner propane cooktop, and a residential-style refrigerator/freezer. A two-person dinette sits adjacent to the galley, and the lounge area is outfitted with a sofa and a Vizio flat-screen TV paired with a Samsung digital home theater system. A bathroom area is located near the center of the coach and is equipped with a shower, a wardrobe, a toilet, and a vanity with a sink. Separate Whirlpool washer and dryer units are located in a dedicated compartment. The rear bedroom features a king-sized bed, a Sharp LCD TV, bedside shelves, and a wardrobe. Additional infrastructure equipment includes: 10-gallon water heater 100-gallon freshwater tank 62-gallon gray water tank 40-gallon black water tank 39-gallon propane tank 2,000-watt inverter 50-amp electrical service 10kW diesel generator. The 8.9-liter Cummins ISL turbodiesel inline-six was factory rated at 425 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque.
